Past ACHA Award Recipients

At the conclusion of every season, college hockey recognizes those who have performed with distinction throughout the year. The groups responsible for determining the recipients of the various awards range from committees dedicated solely to one award to the American Hockey Coaches Association (AHCA) to the Hockey Commissioners Association (HCA) and a few others.  Every league recognizes their very best with awards based on similar criteria, with some variation, for the following achievements; first and second all-league teams, all-rookie team, all-academic team, Player of the Year, Coach of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year, Rookie of the Year and Goalie of the Year.  For additional go to the Atlantic Hockey, CCHA, CHA, ECACHL, Hockey East, and WCHA websites.

Hobey Baker Award
